Student Leadership

At Bayside P-12 College, we have high expectations for our students, believing that they are more engaged and motivated when their ideas are listened to and their opinions valued. We are committed to providing students with opportunities to develop essential leadership skills, empowering them to take an active role in shaping the school community.

Our leadership program allows students to:

  • Develop Leadership Skills: Foster personal growth and responsibility through various leadership roles.
  • Play an Effective Role in Decision-Making: Contribute to the college’s decision-making processes and create positive change.
  • Be Positive Role Models: Act as student leaders who inspire and support their peers.

Bayside P-12 College has an active Student Representative Council (SRC) on each campus. These councils work together as one unified group, meeting regularly to ensure the student voice is heard and to create authentic opportunities for leadership development. Additionally, we have House Captains, Sports Captains, and Performing Arts Captains who take a key role in promoting, running, and developing these important aspects of our extra-curricular programs.

The college actively participates in numerous competitions throughout the year, including debating, public speaking, artistic events, and writing competitions. These challenges inspire students to push their limits, further developing their skills and confidence.

In addition, we offer Leadership Development Programs that are open to all students throughout the year, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to grow as a leader. We strongly encourage all students to participate in at least one of our extra-curricular programs, allowing them to discover new passions, develop valuable skills, and contribute to the vibrant community at Bayside P-12 College.
