At Bayside P-12 College, we are proud to offer the Select Entry Academic Achievers program for highly motivated and academically gifted students. Our program is designed to provide an enriched and challenging learning environment, where students can excel and thrive. Key features of the program include:

- Opportunities for potential acceleration into VCE courses as early as Year 10

Vision Statement
The Academic Achievers Program is a comprehensive academic initiative that spans from Year 7 to Year 9, specifically created for students with a passion for learning. The program is built around an explicit instructional model that challenges and extends students while utilizing an evidence-based enriched curriculum.
Students engage with content at a metacognitive level, fostering deeper understanding and connection across various key learning areas. They are encouraged to make interdisciplinary links, apply real-world problem-solving, and participate in our school-wide wellbeing program, which supports their overall development.
Entry Requirements
Interested students must sit an entrance exam in Mathematics and English. The program is available at both of our junior campuses: Altona North and Williamstown.
To apply, parents must ensure their child resides within the school’s enrolment zone. Following the finalisation of enrolments in late July, we will contact all applicants with the details for the Academic Achievers select entry test.
Test Information
The 2025 Year 7 Academic Achievers entry test for 2026 will take place on Friday, 5th September 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
